We are curently experiencing the results of corporate driven legislation, where after 4 years of dragging their feet in the hopes that we would give in and agree to more concessions the company decided to try and get it in Bankruptcy, despite the fact that they have over $4 billion in cash and record setting revenues for the 2011. Ironically sect 1167 of the Chapter 11 cose says that labor contracts under the RLA can not be abrogated in BK, but somehow the Airlines got us excluded. These types of legal injustices occur because corporations have unlimited financial access to our political system. Corporations are not people and money is not free speech. We need an amendment to the Constitution in order to make our government be what millions have died trying to make it be.
