There are several scenarios:

1.    If they have the TWU STD (Old Policy) only and want the new policy they will rollover into the new plan.

2.    If they have the TWU STD (Old Policy) and want to keep it, they will have to sign the Opt out form.

3.    If they have the TWU STD (Old Policy) and the MetLife (AA Policy), they would need to opt out of the new policy and they will stay with the old policy.  Since the MetLife and The Standard policy will offset. (The MetLife and The Standard plans are both group policies and they will offset)

Once they opt out of the new plan, if they want to cancel the old policy, they will have to contact Transamerica.

TWU STD (Old Policy) – Transamerica

TWU STD (New Policy) – The Standard

MetLife – American Airlines Policy

If you have any members that have no coverage, they have until March 31, 2011 to enroll the New Policy with The standard.
