Dear Sisters and Brothers:

As part of our effort to deal in good faith with the Company’s March 11 proposal for staying out of bankruptcy, we are convening both the Joint and the Mechanic & Related Bargaining Committees at 1:00 p.m. on March 17, 2003 through March 31, 2003. 

The Committees have each been assigned a bankruptcy attorney and will have full access to our financial consultants and economists as they work to formulate a response to the Company’s proposal consistent with the requirements of the Federal Bankruptcy Law.
